Many of us feel the same way about our mothers. And there are too many moms who don’t give themselves enough credit That's why we’d like to attempt to give credit to these women who believe in us and have made us what we are today,
Mom, this is for you.
To Working Mothers
Maybe you’re working because you have to make ends meet. Or because you want to. Maybe it’s a mixture of both and then some. Whatever your reasons are, when you’re a mother, being away from your children can be very challenging. You worry about your children while you are away. Thank you for trying to build your family and your career while you’re employed. You’re doing amazingly well!
To Single Mothers
Life happens and for whatever reason, you’re raising your child (or children) alone. Go ahead and pat yourself on the back. Parenthood is hard, and especially challenging if you don’t have a significant other to help you through it. When the dark days come, and you feel like you can’t hang on any longer, fight to remember the tender moments. You are a beacon of light to your children. You are their hero. It may not feel like it now, but you are.
To Stay-at-Home Mothers
You can’t wait for bedtime. You long for the moment when you can get the restroom to yourself. Your back is sore from bending over to pick up your kids and clean up their messes. Some days you don’t get to shower, and sweats are now a normal part of your wardrobe. Has anyone told you lately how incredible you are? I hope so, because you are.
To Dads Who Are Mothers Too
And lastly to all the dads out there that have had to fill a mother’s shoes. You are brave and amazing. It takes a very special man to be both a mother and a father. I hope that you believe in yourself as much as your children love and believe in you.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. A mother like you deserves to be thanked for the passionate and endless work you do. You do not get any sick days or holidays and yet you do not complain about it. You continue to shower your family with love and you are there for your children every single day.
