How To Make Lashes Look Luscious

A wise woman once said “Everything in moderation, except for lashes” 😍 In fact for some women, long lashes are the only things she needs to feel confident and attractive. 
To make sure you get the most out of yours, here are 5 hacks that make use of ordinary, everyday objects to make lashes look long and lovely. 
  1. Spoon! No, I don’t mean the amorous kind, but that’s nice too:) Use a spoon as a lash curler. First, make sure the hollow part of the spoon is facing outward. Then make the edge of the spoon then line it up with your lashes. Then gently press your lashes against the edge of the spoon to achieve a curly shape. 
  2. Fire! Warning! Be very careful when doing this Korean hack! To curl your lashes upward, get a long wooden stick and heat one end for about 5 seconds. When you’re done, check to make sure that the stick isn’t too hot so you don’t burn yourself. Then put the stick under your lashes and move it in an upward motion to achieve a curled effect. Be sure to check the temperature before putting the stick anywhere near your eye. 
  3. Blow dryer! To get lashes that blow you away, use a blow dryer on your lashes for about 5 seconds, with the setting on hot, to create a curl. Then switch the setting to cold and blast it on your lashes for a second or two to set the shape. 
  4. Powder! Baby powder isn’t just used on a baby’s bum. It’s for lashes too! First, apply one coat of mascara to make sure the powder sticks. Then swipe baby powder onto your lashes with a Q-tip. Then add one more layer of mascara to achieve full, thick lashes! 
  5. Toothbrush! Don’t you just hate it when your mascara gets all clumpy? To get all those lashes untangled, use a toothbrush to brush out those lashes. It’ll work even better than an expensive lash de-clumper, and it’s cheaper too.
