We are coming up on almost three months of quarantine! How have you been handling it? At ForChics, we have been taking it in stride. With coworkers in North America, Asia, and Europe, our team members have all had different experiences coming to grips with this "new normal".
However, one day, we were talking in our internal Slack channel and it became apparent that we were all feeling similar things: happy to be spending more time with family and furbabies, excited and accomplished around new hobbies, and determined to not get "burnt-out" by the daily news.
We asked what everyone has been up to (besides WFH, of course) and it seems like everyone has been working on themselves! We have some pretty talented people on our team, so we wanted to share what they have been up to:
Activities
- Setting up the new ForChics Content Studio 😍
- Completing a 50 hr. Meditation Certification
- Working out in at-home gyms
- Apartment renovations and moves
- Homeschooling the kiddos
- Walks with the doggos
- Watercoloring and crafting
- Yoga and Hiking
Lashes and Brows on Chic
Yes, with all of this extra time, our team members have recommitted to daily applications of ForLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum and ForBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum, our best-selling growth serums. It's the perfect thing to do while sitting on the couch - no work required! One of our team members even said that her boyfriend noticed her new and improved brows 😎 That's right people - it passed the boyfriend test.
In The Kitchen
It looks like we have some aspiring chefs on our team. If they ever give up the eyelash/eyebrow game, they might have a future in fine-dining ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here is what we've been cookin' up:
- Chocolate Orange Coffee Muffins (ok yum)
- Black Currant Cookies
- Honey Mustard Chicken
- Instant Pot Cheesecake
- Shakshuka (eggs and tomato sauce, yes please)
- Berry Ginger Smoothie
- Japanese-Syle Iced Coffee (just look it up, we promise)
